The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability

The procedure laid down in Manual of Office Procedure (MOP) for decision making is complied with in the ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi. Accordingly, Assistant Administrative Officer takes action with the help of staff (Assistant, UDC and LDC) in accordance with the departmental instructions prescribing the level of final disposal and channel of submission for each category of cases. The Assistant Administrative Officer submits the file to Sr. Adm. Officer who in turn endorces the file to FAO who then submits the file to the Director who finally takes decisions on the matter, in compliance to GFR, 2017 and others norms and procedures laid down by Govt. of India/ ICAR from time to time.
All decisions on a particular matter is taken at the earliest possible. Time frame varies from 03 days to 15 days.
Head of Office, P.C., AICRP (VC), Heads of three Divisions, Head of RRS and Heads of the 03 no. of KVKs  holsa the supervisory levels who are fully responsible and accountable.
