NCERT Assistant Exam Pattern 2023
The NCERT Assistant Exam 2023 will have 120 questions divided into three sections: English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Each section will have a time limit of 20 minutes, making the total duration of the exam 1 hours 20 minutes. If you answer a question incorrectly, you will receive a deduction of 0.25 marks. However, there will be no deduction for unanswered questions. All the questions will be of the Objective type. While the English Language section will only be in English, the other sections will be available in both English and Hindi. It’s important to note that the marks obtained in the Prelims Exam will not be considered for the merit list since the Prelims exam is only for qualifying purposes.

NCERT Assistant 2023 Shorthand (Skill Test)
Candidates who have achieved the minimum required marks in the written exam will receive an invitation from the NCERT to take part in the Shorthand Skill Test. During this test, candidates will need to write at a speed of 100 words per minute for a duration of 4 minutes. To pass this round, candidates must make fewer than 10% errors. Additionally, candidates will also need to type in Hindi at a speed of 30 words per minute. They will be required to complete 300 words of typing within a time limit of 10 minutes.
NCERT Assistant 2023- Final Selection
The Bank will choose the final candidate for the Assistant position by looking at the combined scores from the Skill Test and the interview. The Mains Exam will have more weight, accounting for 80% of the total score, while the interview will contribute 20%. Once the NCERT 2023 Exam’s Interview Process is complete, a merit list will be created. Candidates who are on the list will receive a job offer from their preferred various non academic post.
